This scheme is shaped by the concept of exchange. Within the perimeter bands, units are designed so that residents may swap living rooms and bedrooms within their units, and each unit shares a terrace, promoting social exchange between neighbors. On the roof, bands swap in section to place bedrooms below and living spaces above, where they benefit from maximum access to daylight.

The concept of exchange thus permeates the project marking thresholds ranging from urban to individual - from exchanging money for food, goods and entertainment, to social exchange with neighbors, to the designation by residents of rooms within their private dwellings.
