harmonizing

Combining two different ideologies in architecture to create a new element. Using the ideologies from rationalism as it was first defined by Viturius and the term organic architecture from Frank Lloyd Write. Therefore Harmonizing was the title-to combined or go together in a pleasing and affective way.

The rational architecture separates the city of Madrid, Spain from the nature through a big volume that has an opening that connect the level of the city to the nature's level through a staircase. The stair not only serves as a mean of circulation, but also as a gathering space that is underneath. It also provides natural light to the space, a study place for the residents of this facility. The stairs become the focus point of the project because it can be use in both interior and exterior space.
